About The Club
The Essendon Square Dance Club was founded in 1975 by David Hooper, who ran the club until he passed away in December 2007.
Since this time, Ruth and John Humphrey have hosted the club, and Darren Taylor has taken over as our caller.
About The Caller - Darren Taylor
Darren has been square dancing since 1987 and calling since 1990.
He is an active member of the Australian Callers Federation. He has called at numerous State and National conventions including the 50th USA National Convention.
In 1996 he started the Geelong Club and became the Essendon Club Caller in January 2008.
